“Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence and determination. Talent will not; nothing is more common
than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the  world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination are omnipotent.”

Kempo-Goju Karate Hudson

Greetings to all students, Sensei's, and Sempai's, both present and past, and all other interested people.

With a heavy heart, we bring you the news that the Kempo-Goju Karate School in Hudson is shutting down after 37 years of operation. This action is effective immediately.

Thank you all for your dedication, your hard work, and your commitment to learn and practice the art of karate with us, and we sincerely hope that it brings you confidence as well as peace of mind and spirit in the knowledge that you have learned the basics of defending yourself and your loved ones, along with a sense of awareness of your surroundings and your self.

We urge you to continue to practice what you have learned, to maintain or improve your physical fitness, and to continue your education by finding a school near you in a similar discipline.

Additionally, once a KG student, always a KG student! You are welcome to attend Gasshuku every year as either a student/participant or as an observer. Gasshuku is typically held on the second weekend in August. The Palmyra Facebook page should have that information when August gets close. We'd love to see you there!

Take care, and we sincerely hope we see you again!
